  • Circuit Breaker Analyzer

CAT Standard Series - Amperis sl

The CAT Standard series circuit breaker analyzers & timers are stand-alone or a PC-controlled digital instruments for circuit breakers condition assessments. The timing channels record closing and opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. CAT Standard series records graphs of both, trip and close coil currents and displacements of the HV and MV circuit breaker moving parts. The main contact channels can also measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker). Test results can be downloaded to a USB memory stick or saved to internal memory. The CAT Standard series internal memory can store up to 500 test results (numerical and graphical data). Test results can also be printed on the 80 mm (3.15 inch) thermal printer (optional accessory) in tabular and graphical form. CAT Standard series provides an easy selection of different operational modes:

  • Gravelometer Testing

    National Technical Systems

Gravelometer testing is designed to evaluate the resistance of vehicle surface coatings (paint, clear coats, metallic plating, etc.) to chipping caused by the impacts of gravel and other flying objects in accordance with SAE and ASTM standards. The primary usage of this test is to simulate the effects of the impact of gravel or other debris on automotive parts. Test samples are typically mounted in the back of the Gravelometer, and air pressure is used to project 1 pint (approximately 300 pieces) of gravel at the sample. The test sample is then removed and gently wiped off with a clean cloth. Tape is then applied to the entire tested surface. Removal of the tape then pulls off any loose fragments of the coating. The appearance of the tested sample is then compared to standard transparencies supplied by SAE to determine the chipping ratings. Visual examination can also be used to describe where in the coating/substrate system that the failure has been induced.

  • The Mag Lead

    136 - Electronic Specialties Inc.

*Mag Lead features a magnetic disconnect near the test probe end. *Just disconnect the test probe and you can “stick” to any metallic ground or test point. *Quit fumbling with alligator clips that fall off - Mag Lead’s powerfull magnet will hold tight! *This is a time saving tool - if you don’t have to walk to your tool box to retrieve your alligator clips, even on just half the occasions, then you’ve saved time. *Very helpful for automotive reference points and troubleshooting. *Can eliminate the need to hold probes while checking or monitoring a signal. *Two high power, low resistance magnets hold the probe to the lead. *Fits almost all Digital Multimeters and can be used with hand-held scopes too. *Get the Mag Lead, it stays put and won’t fall off, like alligator clips do!

  • Concrete Strength Testers

    Qualitest International Inc.

This category of products comprises the range of instruments utilized to evaluate construction material strength. The range of instruments is typically considered to be two parts. The first are non-destructive field tests of compressive strength. The second are tensile field tester systems to either determine the tensile strength of an overlay or bond material, or tensile strength of anchors embedded in the concrete. The first group is pure Non-Destructive Testing where the strength of the material is determined by correlation to another parameter more easily available and readily apparent. This is typically the hardness of the concrete or the resistance to penetration by either a pin or probe. The Windsor Probe, Windsor Pin and our line of Rebound Hammers all fall within this category. These are widely used standard tests and as such have seen use throughout the world.
